Supermarket chain Aldi is recalling three varieties of Specially Selected sauces in the UK as the products contain egg, which is not declared in the full ingredients list. 

The Food standards Agency (FSA) has issued an allergy alert and has asked consumers who are allergic or sensitive to egg to not eat this product.

The products being recalled are Specially Selected Pesto Rosso Sauce, 190g (barcode 25192896), Specially Selected Pesto Genovese Sauce, 190g (barcode 25192889), and Specially Selected Tomato & Ricotta Pasta Sauce, 340g (barcode 25279474). All batch codes and 'best before' dates are affected.

No other Specially Selected or Aldi branded products are known to be affected.
